PowerAutomate Desktop is a separate tool from PowerAutomate Web that we can use to create and run desktop flows on a computer. While PowerAutomate is available on the web as one of Office 365 apps, the desktop version needs to be separately installed before we create any flows.
Let’s see how to install PowerAutomate Desktop in a few simple steps.
Download .exe file
If you’re a regular user of PowerAutomate on your browser you have the option to download the exe file easily on the browser.
Go to your PowerAutomate environment > My Flows > Install.
You’ll get a “Setup. Microsoft. PowerAutomate. exe”.
or you can visit Install Power Apps for Windows – Power Apps | Microsoft Learn page and get the file.
Run it.
Installation
Click next.
Install
wait.
You can enable extensions for the browsers you use by clicking one option.
it will take some time to install the extension.
Get extension.
Open the app.
Sign in.
On this window, you can create new flows.
